Ansonia Brass & Copper Co., Ansonia, Conn., 30 hour, time and alarm spring brass movement Davies Patent Matchstick Illuminated Alarm novelty shelf clock. The clock case and movement were made Ansonia and Henry J. Davies made the illumination part of the clock. A rare clock to find, particularly complete.
CONDITION:
Walnut case in nice condition in an old finish. Original paper dial is badly stained with poor repairs to some of the numbers. Original hands. Partial label on the back. The lighting device appears complete with the original oil lamp.
